We're recruiting a new Senior Account Manager at Tonic

After several exciting new client wins we are looking for an exceptional Senior Account Manager to join our team.

We love what we do and our passion comes across in all our campaigns, which are getting high recommendations from clients and media alike.

As a Senior Account Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day PR & marketing activity on a selection of our clients.

You will assist with strategies for PR & marketing campaigns, including involvement with chefs, pitching and placement, launches and events
You will be expected to develop and maintain fantastic relationships with clients and media alike
You will be run a number of the accounts with your junior team, and are expected to nurture this talent in the agency
You will work alongside senior Directors and junior team members on the larger, strategic accounts and form an integral part of these important campaigns
You will help develop PR plans that deliver frequent, timely and positive media coverage for our clients
You will keep clients on track to deliver goals and objectives in their PR and marketing campaigns
You will oversee that the agency’s social media strategy is integrated within all PR programmes.
You will have a desire to bring exciting brands, new client opportunities and relationships to the agency and to develop those within your role
You will support senior team members so that the administrative side of the role runs smoothly and efficiently at all times

The new SAM will have:

  • Worked at Account Manager level in a restaurant or food PR agency or in-house for at least three years
  • Strong experience with the day-to-day support of accounts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to demonstrate creativity in previous campaigns
  • Strong previous experience within restaurant / bar / food / drink PR with strong contacts within the media and industry
  • A desire to keep up to date with the industry’s news – new openings, important Chef moves and business news
  • A desire to work commercially, and an interest in recruiting new accounts

Salary includes work-related travel, mobile phone supplement and a rewarding ‘New Business Bonus’ structure. There is a clear progression planned for this position within the agency.

The salary for this role is £36,000 per annum, with a new business bonus (20% of the first month’s retainer and an additional 10% should they remain on board for more than 6 months.
