On 9th July critically-acclaimed chef and restaurateur, Adam Handling, launches a Lobster Roll Kit in collaboration with Restaurant Kits. Handling’s twist on the classic lobster roll uses succulent lobster tail cooked in wagyu beef fat, and in line with Adam’s sustainability goals, uses as much of the lobster as possible, including a specially-made lobster mayonnaise made with fermented lobster brain.

The kit includes all the ingredients you need to make this richly-flavoured, luxurious dish just as Adam would himself, but in the comfort of your own home. The kit includes lobster tail, sourced from the Pacific, crayfish, fermented lobster brain, mayonnaise, little gem and two soft brioche rolls. Accompaniments are just as thoughtful, and fancy: zingy tomato and red pepper pesto salad with micro basil, and Handling’s take on the potato salad with celeriac, potato, grapefruit and lovage. All components come with crystal-clear instructions, including a cook-along video made by Handling himself. Everything is included from salad dressings to micro herbs, allowing budding cooks the chance to create a truly impressive meal, with very little work, fuss or cleaning up. The kit generously feeds two people (£42) or upgrade to include a bottle of Handling’s very own English sparkling wine (with notes of white peach, Pink Lady apple and honey) to perfectly complement the dish (£75).

Restaurant Kits bring to market meal kits with a difference. Their intention is to support the very best restaurants and hospitality stars to create an engaging representation of their food for an audience at home.
