Two minutes with Eroshan and Aushi Meewella, co-founders of ADOH!
What can Kolamba fans expect from ADOH!?
Authentic Sri Lankan street food that is indulgent, spicy and unique. It's the dishes that are iconic on the streets of Sri Lanka, which aren't yet widely found across central London.
Tell us something about Sri Lankan street food that often flies under the radar?
Sri Lankan street food isn’t just snacks, it’s often a full meal, served from tiny carts or home-style pop-ups, especially in the evenings. Many locals skip restaurants entirely and opt for freshly made rice and curry, kothu, or roti from trusted street vendors who cook everything from scratch, often in front of you. These set-ups can be ultra-local and unassuming, but they’re packed with flavour, variety, and often recipes passed down through generations. It’s an everyday part of life—more than just a bite on the go, it’s fast, flavourful, and deeply tied to community.
If you each had to pick a favourite dish from the menu…
Aushi: Kothu as it's nostalgic and reminds me of late night post-clubbing eats with friends.
Eroshan: Isso Vadai as it's so different to anything else.
