Two minutes with Stas Anastasiades, Restaurants & Innovations Director of The Newman hotel
Brasserie Adeline will be arriving in Fitzrovia in Summer 2025, what do you think the restaurant will bring to the surrounding area?
An all-day dining destination in the heart of Fitzrovia, seamlessly blending approachability with refinement. It offers the timeless charm and welcoming atmosphere of a classic brasserie, set within a thoughtfully reimagined dining space. Designed as a neighbourhood gathering spot, it serves as a vibrant hub where people come together to enjoy memorable meals, casual drinks, and engaging conversations.
What can guests expect from the menu?
A great à la carte menu takes centre stage, featuring a wide variety of Northern European classics and interpretations, crafted with carefully sourced ingredients and presented with simplicity. From noon to late, guests can enjoy dishes highlighted by live-fire cooking on a Josper Grill, alongside an enticing lunchtime offering designed with local workers in mind. For early risers, the a la carte breakfast menu offers house-pressed juices and speciality coffee, providing a delightful start to the day.
Brasserie Adeline will be part of The Newman. How has the restaurant been designed to reflect the style and ethos of the hotel?
London-based design studio Lind + Almond have crafted the interiors for the entire hotel, including Brasserie Adeline. The dining room reflects the same muted, pared back aesthetic as the rest of the building, showcasing meticulous attention to detail and a focus on craftsmanship. With its own street-side entrance, the dining space and adjoining bar are flooded with natural light and flow seamlessly into the hotel's other areas.
