Scotland's only artisanal knife and kitchen tools store, look no further than Messer for small batch, hand-finished Japanese knives and cookware aplenty. It's the creation of Katie Messer and James Aikman, who also happen to own excellent modern Scottish restaurant Skua, just across the road - making Stockbridge's St Stephen Street a bit of a destination in itself.
