Mortimer House Kitchen has announced a new Italian concept from Founder Guy Ivesha and Executive Chef Tom Cenci, which will open in the heart of Fitzrovia in February 2024. The menu is influenced by Cenci's time spent in Italy where he developed an appreciation for the simplicity of Italian cooking, with its emphasis on the freshest ingredients, seasonal produce and family style dining. The menu starts with a selection of scarpetta (a bread course ‘to scoop’ up sauces) and antipasti plates designed to share, followed by larger pasta dishes and classics reimagined, championing both British and Italian produce. This venture comes nearly a year after the successful opening of Ivesha and Cenci’s collaboration on Soho restaurant, NESSA.
