Where to eat at Rusacks St Andrews
Rusacks's flagship restaurant, 18, sits atop the hotel with some pretty spectacular views of Old Course Links and West Sands beach (that of Chariots of Fire fame, don't you know). The focus is Scottish beef, seafood and game, all cooked over 18's open-flame robata grill for a bit of live fire extravagance. If you're feeling really fancy, go for the St Andrew's Bay lobster, freshly caught and brought to 18 every day.
On the ground floor you'll find The Bridge, serving up classic Mediterranean fare from sourdough pizza to silky pasta and risotto. Make the most of local seafood by starting with the fritto misto, then go for our pick of the pastas, spicy sausage ragù with rigatoni - it's rich and bold with a little bit of a kick. Round things off with a zesty Sgroppino, one of our all time favourite tipples with vodka, prosecco and lemon sorbet.
If you're after something a bit more laid back, head down to the basement and you'll find One Under Bar, Rusacks's very own pub. Settle in and enjoy a dram (or two, or three) from its extensive whisky list, or enjoy a pint of local craft beer from the taps.
