The Clarence

 The Clarence is a neighbourhood restaurant and pub located on Hyndland Road, Glasgow, which opened in January 2025. The kitchen at The Clarence is led by Head Chef Declan King, previously of Cail Bruich, while the front of house team is under the guidance of General Manager Josh McCormack, also previously of Cail Bruich. At The Clarence, Declan’s menus focus on familiar, comforting dishes rooted in pubs and bistros, each made with high-quality produce - and packed with flavour. Drinks at The Clarence are led by Josh McCormack, who has brought a wide selection of wine, beer and an extensive cocktail menu including signature twists on classic serves, offered at an accessible price point.
