In celebration of summer, online meal kits platform Restaurant Kits has partnered with some of the UK’s leading chefs to bring a series of BBQ kits to homes across the UK. With something for every type of meat-lover, the kits provide an opportunity to try BBQ styles from around the world, from Fillipino (Sarap) to Scottish (Mac & Wild) to a celebration kit from trailblazers, Pitt Cue. Mac & Wild

Kicking the BBQ series off with a bang, Restaurant Kits have teamed up with Mac & Wild to create an epic Fire Pit Feast, made up of a colourful array of Mac & Wild’s BBQ favourites; including 1kg of Tomahawk steak, beef and whisky sausages, lamb cutlets and beef fat potatoes. To accompany the meat, the kit also includes charred baby gem, heritage tomato salad and flatbreads to mop up all of those meaty juices. DJ BBQ

The kit in collaboration with trailblazing BBQ cook Christian Stevenson, or ‘DJ BBQ’, features everything to make 8 x smoked pork shoulder sliders; including smoked pork shoulder, brioche buns, spiced finishing salt, Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce, pickled red chilli and crispy onions. Sarap BAon

Sarap’s Filipino Inasal Pouissan kit in collaboration with Restaurant Kits steers away from the meat-heavy, American-style BBQ and celebrates Filipino fire cooking. The kit includes inasal poussin, slow-cooked in Annatto chicken fat on the BBQ, served alongside jasmine rice and Kale Laing (spicy coconut stewed kale).

Pitt Cue

To celebrate their 10th anniversary, barbecue, bourbon and beer experts Pitt Cue have launched a BBQ box with Restaurant Kits, providing everything you need to recreate Pitt Cue’s signature pulled pork in all its finger-licking, smoke-infused glory. The kit includes shoulder of British rare-breed pork, rubbed with a signature blend of herbs and spices and smoked slowly over hardwood, alongside crunchy vinegar slaw, bread and butter pickles, BBQ mayo, and hot sauce.

FLANK

The kit in collaboration with Tom Griffiths, Chef Director at FLANK, includes everything to make 6 x sticky BBQ milk buns. Featuring smoked ox cheeks topped with burnt chilli sambal, BBQ beef glaze, salted pretzel crumble and sweet pickles inside soft milk glazed buns, along with pickled cucumber and chunky chips, the kits are a perfect fast and indulgent BBQ treat. A kit including two cans of FLANK Fuel IPA is also available.
