Running all weekend and set to the tune of the finest dancehall, ska and reggae sounds, Pop Brixton's free Bank Holiday parties will make it the perfect venue to max the carnival vibes.
Live sets from the likes of the Just Vibez crew and Manu & Ando will set the carnival vibe on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th August, with the celebratory atmosphere continuing with a hip-winding after-party on Sunday 26th August. Across the weekend guests can fuel up at one of Pop’s many resident street food traders, with Mama’s Jerk bringing the heat of the Caribbean to Brixton with their homemade Jamaican fare, whilst Pop’s resident bars will be serving up drinks to keep the party going.
Kicking off the weekend, the Just Vibez crew will bring carnival sounds to Brixton with a playlist of the best in soca, dancehall, reggae and hip hop on Friday 24th August, 7pm - 12am. On Saturday 25th, resident DJs Manu & Ando will be warming up guests for carnival Sunday from 7pm - 12am, as they take to the decks with a range of sounds to set the mood and get revellers ready to hit the road. Sunday 26th will see KD Soundsystem take to the stage to keep the party going from Notting Hill to Brixton as they play the finest soca, ska and reggae sounds from 7pm late into the night.
