Dinner With Friends is the playful new dinner party series launching at The Standard, London. On the last Thursday of the month, the hotel will welcome industry friends to cook, entertain and mix cocktails at these intimate parties. Hosted by Peter Sanchez-Iglesias, Decimo’s Executive Chef, the menus will showcase family-style, seasonal, showstopping dishes from Peter and his visiting Chef. The guest list will be made up of the hotel’s friends in hospitality, fashion, art and design, with only 10-15 tickets available for sale to the public for each event. Tickets can be purchased here each month and cost £100 per head.
Kicking off with much-loved chef and restaurateur Stevie Parle on 31 March, the fabulous line-up will also include the likes of Imogen Davis and Ivan Tisdall-Downes (Native), Selin Kiazim (Oklava), Calum Franklin (Holborn Dining Room) and Hector Henderson (Rochelle Canteen). Wine will be provided by long-term friend of the hotel Luca Dusi (Passione Vino), with tickets including a welcome cocktail and free-flowing wine over the course of the evening - because what is a dinner party without drinks? They will take place in surprise locations within the hotel including Decimo; the new cocktail bar on ten, Sweeties; Isla’s ground floor terrace and the private Townhouse spaces.
