The sister agency, Tonic Studio, offers content creation and social media management for a number of clients - many of whom are Tonic PR and Communications PR clients. Established at the start of the year, Tonic studio is run day-to-day by MD, Holzapfel and services clients such as cult noodle brand Koya; live music venue Stereo; hotels Cowley Manor and Barnsley House; independent, neighbourhood restaurants Nandine, Angelina and The Laundry; chef Sami Tamimi and chinatown stalwart Tao Tao Ju.
Tonic Studio employs a team of seven, including content creators (photography and videography), content editors, copywriters and social media strategy specialists. Cottrell-Duffield has a role as Consultant and Co-founder within the agency.
Holzapfel says of the agency: “I’m excited to be launching our new social media agency, Tonic Studio, with Frances - she's been my employer for years and I couldn't be happier to now call her my business partner. Having worked in the world of hospitality for over 10 years, I'm pleased to now be able to support clients, old and new, with a service that's becoming increasingly so important for restaurants, hotels and bars in our industry - building their brands, their audience and ultimately making them stand out from the crowd.”
Cottrell-Duffield says of the agency and Holzapfel’s appointment: “I’m so pleased to be able to service clients with integrated social media management as part of Tonic PR’s offering. Having employed Raff at Tonic for nearly 5 years, I was in no doubt that she was perfectly skilled to launch this new agency with me. Not only brilliant at PR, she’s always had an innate understanding and wealth of experience in building hospitality brands. She has such a brilliant vision, and the number of clients and employees already partnering with Tonic Studio is testament to that”.
