Sprout, the seasonally led bar with Dominic Royle at the helm, has invited one of the Greek capital’s most iconic and celebrated bars, A for Athens, to London for the second edition of its Sprout Sessions at Miiro Templeton Garden. Found on the World's 50 best Discovery list, A for Athens is known for its innovative serves and invites guests to explore the line between emotion and logic. As London's appetite for Greek hospitality continues to grow, from acclaimed restaurant openings to chef collaborations, Sprout Sessions brings one of Athens' leading cocktail destinations to the city for a one-off pop-up.
A celebration of creativity, collaboration and a little bit of chaos, Sprout Sessions, supported by Pernod Ricard and Fever Tree, sees guest bartenders join Dominic on a high-stakes ingredient search with one mission: to transform unexpected ingredients into brilliantly unique cocktails which will then be served at Sprout.
London has a diverse foraging landscape, from herbs through to blackberries and beyond, and with the guidance of expert forager* Flavour Fred, Sprout and A for Athens bartenders will gather whatever catches their eye, whether that's locally foraged berries, cuttings of wild herbs or something even more unexpected.
Back at Sprout, the bartenders will then join forces to create cocktails with their foraged harvest over one evening, resulting in one standout serve remaining on Sprout’s menu for one month.
A for Athens Sprout Session collaboration is from 5-9pm on 20th August and booking is advised.
