Opened in November 2025 and set within a Victorian home, TOWER HOUSE is an ornate bar and restaurant with candelabras and verdant palms framing an antique Rosso Levanto marble fireplace. On this floor, guests will find a doorway leading them to a balcony, offering breathtaking views of the river where they can enjoy cocktails. Moving downstairs, guests are greeted by the energy of the open fire kitchen, which then leads to a low counter bar and entrance to the garden room restaurant. Peppered with hanging lanterns throughout, the garden room restaurant has views of the river setting to one side, and the open fire kitchen seen through arches, to the other. When the sun comes out, the glass roof opens to create an incredible alfresco feel. Green and white tatton stripe cushions adorn the seats, with each table punctuated by black wax sealed menus for the day.
Embracing summer, Theo’s menu features seasonal plates and puts the spotlight on vegetables. From Wood roasted purple potatoes with pesto; Romano zucchini & tahini, chargrilled sprouting broccoli with goats' yoghurt & sumac; through to Charred hispi cabbage dressed with bagna cauda; Spiced cauliflower roast in the wood oven with tarragon vinaigrette and Friggitelli peppers cooked over open flame with ciao e pepe aioli. Hand-rolled pasta and salads won’t go amiss, while larger dishes celebrate simply seasoned cuts of meat on the bone and day boat fish cooked on the open fire grill. Designed to let the ingredients
speak for themselves, dishes include Iberico pork chop, burnt butterbeans, romesco, paprika; and Chargrilled squid, rocket, lemon and chilli.
The wine list is a celebration of the Mediterranean, a nod to Theo’s hyper-seasonal and joyful fare. Explore wines from the lesser known regions within Greece and beyond, through to classic cuvées. Looking to cocktails, guests can find the same consideration and care, with fire and smoke at the heart of each serve. Classics come with a twist including the Wood Fired Paloma, a blend of wood fired grapefruit, El Rayo Tequila, fresh lime and sumac; through to seasonal serves such as the Szechuan Strawberry Sour made with Finlandia vodka, Campari, wild strawberry, lime and szechuan pepper.
TOWER HOUSE is home to a sprawling 100 seat riverside garden terrace, an idyllic retreat for summer. The tiered terrace is filled with trees throughout, from grape vines working their way up pergolas, through to lantern-lit Punica trees and seasonal flowers blooming in every corner.
TOWER HOUSE can be entered on Bridge Street by the main entrance and side gate at garden level, and is open seven days a week.
