On Thursday 18th January, dynamic duo Mam Sham will be bringing their eponymous high concept dining experience to central London event space HERE at Outernet, creatively combining food and comedy for an energetic evening of ‘good grub and lols’.
For the event, labelled ‘Very Ready’, Mam Sham’s Rhiannon Butler and Maria Georgiou will be working with FKA Black Axe Mangal, Ling Ling’s x Mambow and Supa Ya Ramen to curate three courses, each designed to bring one of three comedy performances to the plate.
As with every Mam Sham, each course of the meal will be inspired by the stand up routine which precedes it, with a line up including Ed Gamble of the ‘Off Menu’ podcast, BAFTA-nominated comedian Rose Matafeo and much-loved sketch comedy trio Crybabies.
Maria and Rhiannon will be working closely with both the chefs and comedians to develop dishes that surprise, shock, and delight diners; with each chef creatively drawing on the comedy acts through theatre, props and twists.
