Honest Burgers bring back Honest at Home

Honest Burgers has launched its ‘Honest at Home’ kits. Bringing an authentic taste of Honest to kitchens all over the UK, these kits include everything you need to make a signature Honest Burger at home:
- 4x chopped British chuck steak and rib cap patties from the Honest Butchery
- 4x British Cheddar slices
- 4x dry cured smoked bacon rashers
- 4x Burger buns from Honest’s friends at The Bread Factory (gluten free also available)
- Honest Kitchen red onion relish
- Honest Kitchen pickles
- An Honest tote bag

Customers just need to supply their own lettuce (it doesn't travel well) and Honest has also included a portion of their addictive rosemary salt to season homemade chips.

The kits were first available in a limited number during lockdown as part of Honest Burgers’ extensive charity and fundraising work, when 1000 burgers were sold with all funds split equally between charities Honest felt were in particular need through the peak of the pandemic crisis: Landworkers Alliance, Hospitality Action and Trussell Trust. It was an initiative that raised nearly £9,000, alongside over 8000 meals that Honest made and then donated to local food banks and hospitals.

Honest Burgers are the only burger company in the UK with their own butchery, so these are the only burger kits available where quality and consistency is as close as possible to an eat-in restaurant experience. In addition Honest has created a cook-a-long recipe video with co-founder Tom so you can take advantage of his ten years experience creating the perfect burger. Beef is from small farms in Gloucestershire and cows are native breeds that live outside and eat grass. The patties are made from a combination of chuck and rib cap and chopped, never minced to keep in the flavour, moisture and retain a good texture.

The £30 kits are available from the Honest website, and delivered nationally by DPD (delivery cost included). Kits are delivered two days after ordering, and should be consumed the day they arrive.
