POLPO and Sipsmith join forces for the 'Spirit of Dining' series

Venetian restaurant and bacaro POLPO teams with quintessentially English spirit brand Sipsmith


Launching on 3rd September and running until the end of October, the 'Spirit of Dining' series will see each POLPO site offering a new Sipsmith cocktail menu available all day, every day. This menu will feature the Sipsmith Negroni (Sipsmith London Dry Gin, Campari, Cinzano Rosso, £9.50) and The Sipsmith Sloe & Amaretto Sour (Sipsmith Sloe Gin, amaretto, lemon, egg white, £9.50), developed to complement the bacaro-style bars within each POLPO site, and the strong Venetian flavours on the menu.

From 9pm, when purchasing two of these cocktails, guests will receive a complimentary cichèti, such as the ‘Nduja and mozzarella arancini and the Stuffed, fried olives - selected to match the cocktails with their crunchy texture and salty and savoury flavours, which work perfectly against the classic Sipsmith London Dry.

Throughout the series Sipsmith will also run a pop-up gin bar at the Notting Hill POLPO site. The entire bar will be nestled in a floral and botanical installation full of the beautiful and aromatic ingredients that make Sipsmith so distinctive. Juniper, coriander, almonds and lemons, Seville oranges and liquorice will adorn the bar as part of this statement foliage installation. Sipsmith brand ambassadors will be on hand throughout the pop-up to offer matching notes, complimentary samples and cocktails, alongside matched cichèti from the POLPO menu.
